Darwen tower walk
On the West Pennine Moors, this octagonal tower overlooks the Lancashire town of Darwen. The tower was built to celebrate the Queens diamond jubilee
The west Pennine Moors lie to the west of Darwen which offers some excellent walking roots. When walking there are multiple roots that could be taken for example the Bold venture park which is made of a number of quarries and cloughts which is best known for there display of flowers and specimen trees and was opened in 1887.
